How Much do Braces Cost?

Braces type and costs

What is unique about braces at Tisseront Orthodontics is that you can select any type of braces and achieve the same beautiful, healthy smile. Traditional metal braces – Made from stainless steel or titanium are held into place with wires and rubber bands.

Ceramic braces – Placed on the outside of teeth just like metal braces. Made from ceramic and held into places with wires and rubber bands. Less visible than traditional braces.

Lingual braces – Are braces placed behind your teeth, they are just as effective as traditional metal braces. The true invisible option of orthodontics. Check out Dr. Tisseront on mylingualbraces.com, a website that displays the top lingual doctors in the country.

Most health insurance plans do not offer coverage for orthodontics.

HSA/FSA Plans are offered through your employer. They are a “savings plan” that generally let’s you set aside pre-taxed dollars for dental/medical expenses. They are a great way to help with the out of pocket expenses your insurance doesn’t cover. Our Financial Coordinator will be happy to help you find the best way to maximize these kinds of plans.

Can You Get Braces for Free?

While we see the rare insurance that will cover everything for braces, for most people braces are not free and are an investment. By aligning your teeth and correcting your bite not only do you get a beautiful smile you can prevent long term dental issues (such as wear/cracking of teeth) by moving your teeth and bite into a proper position.
